Alternatively, take the scenic walk to Whitby along the river Esk beneath the grandeur of Larpool viaduct, a gentle 1.5-mile flat stroll taking in unique riverside wildlife along its 25-minute route. Keep a look out for seals!
A furnished summerhouse at the bottom of the garden puts you right next to the NYMR steam trains, quite a sight up close!
