Rob and Angela provide a warm welcome to their traditional comfy 'home from home' Victorian Guest House Accommodation set in the harbour town of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. The Captain's Lodge is located on Whitby's beautiful West Cliff. Magnificent beach walks & sea views are just moments away. The accommodation is offered on a 'room only' basis giving you the freedom to either get up with the sun rise (and the seagulls) or have a lay in. The opportunity to explore what wonderful eateries there are in Whitby (there are a lot of them) from traditional full english to the more delicate croissant - the choice is yours.
The rooms are all en-suite, some with showers only, some with baths only, some with both. The rooms are situated over 3 three floors all accessed via stairs. Obviously the best views are the top but the stairs come first! Please make sure you book to suit your needs.
Parking is on street parking which we provide permits for. These permits are £2 per day from us on arrival.
