This beautifully renovated Robin Hoods Bay cottage is in the perfect location for walking the Cleveland Way and for traffic free cycling along the Cinder Track. Seafern Cottage is perfectly suited to accommodate families, groups of friends and couples. Our recent guests have described Sea Fern as beautiful, wonderful, superb, amazing and 'home from home'.
We're in the village of Fylingthorpe, which is rural and within walking distance of Robin Hood's Bay in the North York Moors National Park and five miles from Whitby.
The area is packed full of things to do for adventure breaks and there are plenty of family friendly beaches along the Yorkshire Coast from Scarborough to Sandsend. It's perfect for walkers, cyclists, and multi generation families wanting to enjoy a stroll along the beach.
Sea Fern Cottage is a special place for owners, Jill and Ben, who find spending time there helps them relax and re-charge. With so much on the doorstep combined with a great bus service, guests don't tend to use the car much and this contributes to how thoroughly relaxing they find their stay with us.
We're a dog friendly cottage. The beach is dog friendly and so is our local pub and we have a fully enclosed garden. We do make one request, because half of our guests are not dog owners we ask that dogs are kept downstairs and a stair gate is in place to help facilitate this.
Cleanliness and Comfort are a priority, because we know it's important to our guests who frequently mention how clean, fresh and comfortable the cottage is. It was refurbished in 2023, so it's all NEW! New beds, Emma mattresses, bathrooms, heating and we're fully insulated to keep you warm in the winter months. Our house keeper steam cleans the floors and washes the rugs frequently, so that you will always feel as though you are walking into a newly renovated property.
