We are an active club within the Whitby community who run events and raise money for good causes & local charitable organisations.
We are particularly keen to support the dreams and aspirations of local young people and create opportunities for them to unlock their potential. Each year we run several competitions and activities e.g.: - Young Photographer, Young Musician and Young Writer Competitions; Public Speaking Competition for Primary Schools; Octoberfest Fun Run for Primary Schools and theTechnology Tournament.
This year we are also focusing on Mental Health awareness. We organised a Mental Health & Wellbeing Fair in June 2024 that gave people of all ages the chance to meet mental health experts and find out what local resources are available.
Each year we run a Grand Raffle to raise funds to provide support for those in need within our community, both directly and by making charitable donations. We start selling raffle tickets at the Regatta in August and announce the winners at Christmas
