A beautifully situated apartment with private parking just a stone's throw away from Whitby's award winning beach. Like a secret hideaway it is deceptively spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms! It's close to the quirky cafes and shops too; you can wander right down to the harbour in around ten minutes. Set in the impressive Metropole Towers; a former hotel built in 1897, this ground floor property has all the amenities to enjoy a fabulous family holiday or a romantic couples break. With its own private parking space directly outside the property and decking area with a bench for guests to sit and watch the sea and sunset, this is a perfect place to stay. Walk across North Promenade and after enjoying the views of the sea and the harbour, walk down the path to the glorious beach. Alternatively, in season there is a council shuttle bus stop a couple of hundred yards towards Captain Cook’s statue, which takes you down to the beach hut promenade. The bus runs regularly until the end of September and is suitable for wheelchairs.
